In Miami, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Florida, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. Miami is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Miami peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

It used to be a great place to get pottery, great plants and garden decorations at a fair price...today is an expensive clay pot establishment, mind you nothing original or special anymore, the service SUCKS with a very rude and lazy cashier, no prices marked on the items so the legwork is on you. What a shame, huge place only to fill it with junk that other places have at a better price.

Beautiful arrangements but lousy service. The lady charging me for the Plants did not even bother to give me a proper greeting or even a simple thank you. You will not see me again!

Biggest selection of cactuses Iβve ever seen. Beautiful place with great landscaping in the front

Stopped here on our way to the Keys and this place is really nice. We ended up walking through what seemed like almost endless isles of covered cacti and succulents. The selection is great and the prices are fare. Even though we flew down on Allegiant Air out of Sarasota we ended up buying four little 4" cacti to take back with us. My wife wrapped them in newspaper and a lot of tape and carried them on the plane. THEY DO NOT SHIP! Great place to visit if you are ever in the Homestead area.

We just left here and I was blown away at the amount of cacti and succulents they have. They seem to have common ones and not unicorn expensive ones. But the prices were awesome. They also have Ripsalis, hoyas and dischidia. Customer service was great too.
